I've been trying to find wool panties that actually have enough fabric to cover my behind. When I pulled these out of the package, I was skeptical but they have some kind of stretch and once I put them on, I quickly discovered that these have more than enough fabric to cover. Also, Mamas! These have a nice width crotch. Those well known brands of wool panties have a narrow to super narrow crotch causing ride up in front and back. These don't have that issue. They have a wider crotch. I can't say enough about these. I'm switching my entire drawer over. I've already done so with my socks. all wool. Now I've found the holy grail wool panties. For those of us who are grossed out by the smell leftover from a long day in cotton/spandex (or dare I say nylon/spandex) undies, there's hope in these gems. I just bought my third pair. If you're wondering why people are wearing wool undergarments, read on. At this stage of my 40+ life, I'm not trying to wear thongs and styles that don't cover my butt. These cover nicely, look flattering, are forgiving in size, yet don't remain stretched ot after washing, and... well... they DON'T stink. That's right. Picture "SmartWool" odor-resistant socks having the same effect for your sensitive regions. I tested these out camping, wearing one pair one day, hand-"washing" them (but with ONLY water), and wore the second pair on day two. They didn't seem to take any longer to line-dry overnight than cotton undies do, although drying in the sun would have taken less time. I have dried these in front of a fan with much success. Stink level after washing with only water? ZERO. I'm serious... they literally smell brand-new every day and I haven't even washed them with soap (yet?) I don't know if I will ever wash them with soap at this point, but perhaps I would in a shart-attack kind of situation. They're not too heavy, not too warm, and perfect in comfort. Worth every penny of the $30. If the durability goes down, I'll update my review, because I've had my other two pairs less than a month. But I'm still wearing my "Woolly" brand undershirts, "Minus33" brand leggings, and "SmartWool" brand socks with regular rotation, and I just can't give up wearing wool undergarments. I'm a bit of a minimalist, so I go for quality over quantity in the few things that I buy or can't make/produce myself. I'm quite tall, too... and wear a 14 in USA size, and the large fit perfectly. Buy with confidence! These panties fit true to size. Excellent workmanship and comfortable, so I am ordering more. They even arrived earlier than expected.Nice panties- very breathable & great full-bum coverage.I've been slowly transitioning my undergarments from cotton to wool, and so far this looks like a real keeper. While I hadn't been terribly keen on the style of the waist and leg bands -- the elastic band looked a bit too narrow for my personal taste; I don't like things that cut into my skin -- this style while worn felt comfy. I especially loved the full-coverage rear, and it looks like this style shows minimal panty lines.Next step is to wash and then wear the heck out of these. Will report back an update as needed. If these perform as well as I hope they do, I'm going to buy several pairs.I LOVE these undies. The cut is slightly weird, with a bit of bunching in the front, but the coverage in back is so nice. They are comfy to wear all day, and then very easy to handwash and quick-drying. Even on the hottest, most humid days, you will feel fresh and dry in these undies. I haven't had them long, so hoping they hold up over time, since they are pricey.I purchased this product because I'm traveling to Italy and Switzerland. I had read much about merino wool and I wanted to give these a try. I originally purchased just one pair because I was afraid I wasn't going to like them or they didn't fit right. I love this panties!!! I just order 3 more. They are not too low in the front and cover your butt nicely. There are so soft there is no itchiness. I hand washed them in my shower to see how they would dry. They were totally dry next morning no problem. These are going to be great for my trip. Size 42-44 is a USA 6. Highly recommend these product. These fit great and are very comfortable. They accidentally went through the wash with other clothes and seem ok. Normally I wash them in the sink with a little shampoo or wool wash and hang to dry on a towel rack or on a hanger in my closet and they do great. They're comfortable and seem to breathe well.
